Our Philosophy

"Education creates future"

Reducing the development gap between poor development countries and rich industrial countries (often referred to as North-South-Gap) is one of the main challenges of our time.

Accelerating progress makes it harder and harder for under-developed nations to catch up.

For Sub-Sahara Africa, the situation is particularly worrying.

Development countries often find themselves in a vicious circle of economic dependencies, high state debt and unstable domestic situations or bad governance. This implies insufficient public resources for providing good education and health systems or sustainable environmental protection.

Development aid and development cooperation have been carried out for many years. Yet the desired goals were not achieved everywhere. It is now crucial not to resign but to analyze the mistakes done before and to do it better in the future.

Education and, particularly, educational opportunities are decisive for living a self-independent life.
