The students are the motivation

Still we are on vacations, both the students and us the volunteers. But we deserve the free time after we poured so much work, patience and lifeblood into creating and launching the first magazine.

Next week we are going to resume the Workshop and new plans and projects are already in progress. Nevertheless it is hard for all of us to brace up again for work, because as everybody knows: vacations are always too short…

But exactly at that point, when motivation starts to lack, a student calls to tell you how excited he is to start the Workshop in the next term and this is the proper reason why we are doing this. The joy, the exchange, the communication and learning from each other are the things that worth it to stand up in the morning and to continue work. The feedback of our students also shows us that we are on the best way to fulfil this task. This gives us the affirmation it needs to realize new ideas and to have a great time together.

In the end the students are our motivation to continue taking on the effort, the work and the organization of the Workshop upon ourselves to realize the project because now they are not only our students anymore, they are also friends to us!
